Abundantly Blessed!
It’s all in the details….
⭐Abundantly Blessed Spotlight⭐️
This is one of my most favorite keepsake dresses of the season. Evie is sort of past the point of wanting to wear the sentimental dresses but this one even became one of her favorites! When I design, I truly try to think of every intricate detail and this dress is so exception! Let’s dig into the details!
What makes it special?
The quotes are always my favorite thing to find and usually how a dress begins! I search high and low for inspired quotes and phrases to put on our dresses! Each season God is faithful to bring the right ones along for such a time as this. This one in particular reads, “When I count my blessings, I count you twice.” When I came across it, it touched my heart in such a sentimental way. I genuinely feel that for each of my children. Being their mom is one of the greatest gifts I’ve been given! I wanted the design to also be a reflection of the quote. I chose the overlapping pintucks on the bodice as a representation of a full quiver. I added two little ivory bows to coincide with “I count you twice.”
I chose this color because it’s one of my favorite colors on Evie but also because I feel that it complements every skin tone and hair color! The fabric has a striped texture to it that sets it apart from a flat fabric. It’s also lightweight so it has lots of natural movement, making it perfect for twirling!
The details and fabric combine for a truly timeless look. This dress will withstand the test of time. This is always an important factor for me! We can’t have a keepsake that looks outdated when it’s time to wear it again! This one is a classic, tried and true.
It’s lovely for all year around, perfect for family pictures, perfect for special occasions, and of course, perfect for your keepsake box. I can envision it styled so many different ways and I can’t wait to see how you guys add your own touch to it!
It’s truly one not to miss! To me, it’s iconic and along the lines of Wish or Greatest Adventure. It’s a lovely way to honor those sweet gifts that God has given us.
I hope you love it as much as I do!
Love,
Brandi
